Privacy in plain language

This page describes Grove’s current website as of 23 July 2026. It will be updated before wider public onboarding or paid services begin.

What Grove uses

Public browsing does not require an account. If you sign in, Grove uses your email address and secure authentication session. Business applicants may provide ownership context, public business details, branch information, services, opening hours, and images. Invited customers may submit a rating and review.

Public and private information

Only approved business information and published reviews are public. Account identifiers, owner evidence, review invitations, moderation notes, and unpublished business content remain behind access controls. Do not submit passwords, OTPs, Aadhaar details, banking information, or other unnecessary sensitive documents.

Services that operate Grove

Grove currently uses Supabase for authentication, database, and private media storage, and Vercel for website hosting. Opening Google Maps, WhatsApp, or a phone link leaves Grove and is then governed by that provider and your device settings.

Current pre-launch limits

Grove does not currently run customer payments, in-platform chat, or automated WhatsApp messaging. A dedicated privacy contact and formal account-deletion process must be published before Grove opens registration to the wider public. Until then, participation remains limited and optional.
